Get Involved

If you are a fan of Xfest or alternative theater and want to get more involved in the growth and development of this type of theater festival please consider getting involved in any of the following ways.

Doesn't funding always seems to be at the top of everyone's list? Without financial support from a variety of sources, unique programming like Xfest has little chance of surviving, let alone growing. Any donations are greatly appreciated and welcomed.

  • Corporate or Individual Sponsorship of the Festival
  • Underwrite a Theater Company's performance for next year
  • Underwrite a reception for one of the performances
  • Individual donations
  • checks can made out to "SIUE" with Xfest marked in the memo line
  • In kind donations - reception items, festival wear, etc.

As the festival grows, so will the need for volunteers to usher, house manage, assist in back stage duties, receptions, welcome booth personnel, promotions and help in any number of other ways. If this is appealing please send your name and email address to Kim Bozark ( or call 618-650-5347. We will keep you on our volunteer contact list.

The Arts and Education Council, for mentioning Xfest 2.0 in their newsletter, and for their partnership with Xfest on the ARTS Card, a special discount card for performances and special events in the area.

Anyone who donates a minimum of $50 to the Arts and Education Council receives the ARTS Card, which offers 2-for-1 admissions and other discounts to performances and special events throughout the year. Visit for more details.
